Dr. Nicki Charles

Dr. Nicki Charles is the Director of Northwestern University Summer Session in the School of Professional Studies which offers a broad range of part-time master's degree, bachelor's degree and certificate programs. She is also the Director of Summer Session and Pre College programs at Northwestern University. Before joining Northwestern, Nicki was with Duke University for 15 years where she created and directed the pre-college program and International Field Studies. Nicki has presented extensively to students and parents in the area of college preparation for students worldwide. Prior to working in the university environment, Nicki served as a school counselor in international schools in the United States and abroad for 16 years.

Judith Moore

Judith Moore serves as president of the Tarik Black Foundation overseeing the work of the organization to ensure the mission is achieved.

Her marketing and communications career spans over 30 years. In addition to serving as the director of communications for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for 14 years, she has held key positions in public, for-profit and non-profit organizations including First Tennessee Bank, Memphis City Schools, International Paper Co., Memphis Light Gas Water, National Civil Rights Museum and Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. This background has prepared her well for her role as co-founder and president of Tarik Black Foundation.

Haoyi Chen

Haoyi Chen is an Intellectual Property attorney with extensive experiences in patent prosecution, patent litigation, client counseling and technology development and analysis including patent/trademark application and protection strategies, IP rights disputes and litigation, and trade secret protections.
